UGC NET Application Form 2023 (Dec): Register & Apply Online Link

 UGC NET Application 2023: The National Testing Agency will release the application form for the UGC NET December cycle 2023 in the month of September or October 2023. Initially, the notification will be released for the UGC NET 2023 December exam which will comprise the application dates, guidelines for the exam, and more. According to the previous notification, the UGC NET application fee was INR 1150 for the General Category candidates whereas INR for OBC (NCL)/EWS, and INR 325 for SC/ST/PwD. 



Earlier, the application for the UGC NET 2023 June session exam was closed on May 31, 2023, and was started on June 10, 2023. The application correction window was activated between June 1 to 3, 2023. The UGC NET June exam was carried out between June 13 to 22, 2023 in two phases for 83 subjects.

Candidates need to undertake the online application process for the UGC NET 2023 exam for the December 2023 cycle in order to appear for the exam to attain eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Assistant Professor. Candidates are advised to go through the UGC NET eligibility criteria 2023 before appearing for the UGC NET exam.

 

 

UGC NET Application Form 2023

UGC NET application form 2023 will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the UGC NET 2023 December session in the month of September and October 2023 tentatively. The direct link to apply for the UGC NET 2023 December cycle exam will be provided on the page as soon as it releases on the official website. Earlier, the UGC NET June 2023 session exam application was carried out between May 10 to 31, 2023. The UGC NET 2023 exam was conducted for 83 subjects.

How to fill UGC NET Application Form 2023?

Filling out the UGC NET application is divided into five stages: registration form, application form, image & signature upload, application fee, and confirmation page. The candidates have to fill out the complete application in order to get the hall ticket for the UGC NET exam. Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply online for UGC NET 2023 exam.

Step 1: Fill UGC NET Registration Form

For UGC NET 2023 registrations, candidates first need to visit the official website of the UGC NET exam. Thereafter, candidates need to click on the "Fill Application Form UGC NET December 2023" button available at the bottom of the page. On clicking the button, a new page will open. Candidates need to click on the New Registration button and download the information brochure. Once done, candidates need to click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page and click on the 'Click Here to Proceed' button. On clicking the button, the UGC NET registration page will open on the screen. Details to be filled in the registration form are.

Once all details are filled in, candidates can click on the Submit button. After that, candidates need to review the information given on the page and click on the Final Submit button to proceed further with the application process. Once all details are submitted, an application number will be generated on the screen. Candidates need to note the system-generated application number for future reference.

After all the details are filled in, candidates need to click on the Submit button and review the details entered in the form. Thereafter, candidates need to click on the Final Submit button. 

Step 3: Upload Images and Signature

  • The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Female/PwD/Third Gender will get age relaxation upto 5 years 
  • The research scholars will get age relaxation of upto five years depending on the time span spent on research 
  • The LLM candidates will get up to 3 years of age relaxation 
  • Candidates who are from the armed forces will get upto 5 years of age relaxation depending on the time period of service in the defence forces 

UGC NET Answer Key

UGC NET provisional answer key will be released after the exam is concluded for UGC NET/JRF. Along with the provisional answer key, the UGC NET response sheet will also be released by the board for the candidates. Candidates must compare the response sheet with the provisional answer key to know their marks in the UGC NET exam. The candidates can make objections against the released answer key. The final result will be released by the NTA on behalf of UGC after the scrutiny of the objections raised by the candidates. The exam cutoff list will be released along with the final result. The candidates can check the category-wise cutoff of their subjects in the released cut-off list. The candidates can check their final results by logging into their registered accounts.

UGC NET E Certificate

The UGC NET/ JRF is awarded to those candidates who successfully qualify for the exam by crossing the cutoff. The certificates are released online on the official websites by the NTA on behalf of UGC. These e-certificates are digitally signed copies approved by UGC that ensure the candidate has qualified for the UGC NET/JRF exam. Earlier, UGC used to release the certificates after seven or eight months of the declaration of the final result. However, due to the necessity of the candidates HRD ministry started a platform to download the UGC NET e-certificate directly.
